THE KJV BIBLE
Hebrews 13:1, 2

  1. Let brotherly love continue. 2.Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Romans 12:10, 13, 15, 16

  1. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
    13. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
    15. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
    16. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

I Peter 4:8–10

  1. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
    9. Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
    10. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES

234:4

Whatever inspires with wisdom, Truth, or Love — be it song, sermon, or Science — blesses the human family with crumbs of comfort from Christ’s table, feeding the hungry and giving living waters to the thirsty.

46:25–26

Jesus was “the way;” that is, he marked the way for all men.

30:32–11

In meekness and might, he was found preaching the gospel to the poor. Pride and fear are unfit to bear the standard of Truth, and God will never place it in such hands. Jesus acknowledged no ties of the flesh. He said: “Call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” Again he asked: “Who is my mother, and who are my brethren,” implying that it is they who do the will of his Father. We have no record of his calling any man by the name of father. He recognized Spirit, God, as the only creator, and therefore as the Father of all.

469:30–5

With one Father, even God, the whole family of man would be brethren; and with one Mind and that God, or good, the brotherhood of man would consist of Love and Truth, and have unity of Principle and spiritual power which constitute divine Science.

518:15

The rich in spirit help the poor in one grand brotherhood, all having the same Principle, or Father; and blessed is that man who seeth his brother’s need and supplieth it, seeking his own in another’s good. Love giveth to the least spiritual idea might, immortality, and goodness, which shine through all as the blossom shines through the bud. All the varied expressions of God reflect health, holiness, immortality —infinite Life, Truth, and Love.

HYMN

509:1–3

In Christ there is no East or West,
In Christ no South or North;
But one great family of love
Throughout the whole wide earth.

In Christ shall pure hearts everywhere
Their true communion find;
God’s service is the golden cord
Close-binding humankind.

In Christ now meet both East and West,
In Christ meet South and North;
One joyous, true community
Throughout the whole wide earth.
